THE BEGINNING………..

Incorporated on 27th June 1984 under the Companies Act 1956in the name KERALA CLAYS AND CERAMIC PRODUCTS LIMITED (KCCPL) taking over SUPER CLAYS & MINERALS MINING COMPANY (P) LIMITED owned by veteran industrialist Late Shri Samuel Aron, by Government of Kerala under Super Clays & Minerals Mining Company (P) Limited (Acquisition of undertaking) Act 1983.

The company is working under the administrative control of Industries department, Government of Kerala.

Basically KCCPL was a mining company with mining activities at Payangadi and Kannapuram in Kannur District and Karinthalam and Neeleswaram in Kasargod District. Company stopped mining activities in February 2015 on account of environmental issues.Company, thereafter limited its mining activities in Kannapuram and Nileshwar units and also engaged in supplying Aluminous Laterite to cement manufacturing companies.

AND NOW……….

The company is renamed as KCCP Limited with effect from 18/12/2020

Company has diversified/is in the process of diversification of its activities into multiple areas such as IT, petrol & diesel pumps, Coconut Processing unit, High-Tech Coir de-fibering unit, aqua culture, chicken & goat farms, garden nursery, passion fruit garden and cold storage.
